Throughout the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 air travel apps on the Android platform in Mexico showed varied performance in terms of downloads, active users, and revenue. Here's a detailed look at their trends based on data from Sensor Tower.

Volaris experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 30.5K in early March from 20.3K in mid-January. The app's weekly active users also saw growth, reaching approximately 69.2K in mid-March from 56.4K at the beginning of the quarter.

Aeromexico showed a rising trend in weekly downloads, starting at 13.2K and ending the quarter at about 17.9K. Active user numbers followed a similar upward trajectory, with weekly active users increasing from 41.3K to 47.6K.

Viva Aerobus saw fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at 11.6K and peaking at 18.2K by the end of February. The active user base increased significantly from 37.9K to 42.6K over the quarter.
